The project fostered the role of cities as developers of innovation environments at local, regional, national and international levels. The goal of the project was to produce a common innovation policy framework for the Baltic Sea Region and create platforms and tools for developing transnational clusters.

On October 9th 2007, in the framework of OPEN DAYS in Brussels, BaltMet Inno organized a workshop “Boosting Innovation through Metropolitan Partnership” in collaboration with the Baltic Sea Group.
